Meet Emily

Hey, I’m Emily Hampton—a wife, mama to two wild and wonderful boys, and a writer who finds deep joy in Jesus, storytelling, and the occasional quiet moment with a hot cup of coffee (which, let’s be honest, almost never happens).

I left my job as a kindergarten teacher to stay home with my babies, never imagining that a simple hobby would grow into a handmade jewelry business and, eventually, a whole new chapter as an author. Somewhere between nap times and school pick-ups, I started writing again—pouring out all the things I’d been carrying in my heart for years.

Now, I write books that are filled with grace, honesty, and a little humor—because real life is rarely neat and tidy. Grace Like Wildflowers was my first devotional, written for anyone who’s ever felt like they’re stumbling their way through faith and just hoping God is still close. Barefoot in Heaven came next—born out of my own longing for eternity and the comfort that Heaven is more beautiful than we can imagine.

Then came Holy Shenanigans—the first in a new devotional series that blends deep spiritual truth with embarrassing real-life stories (because if you’ve ever launched out of an Arby’s drive-thru over missing cheese or driven away with the gas pump still attached… we’re probably already best friends).

My first novel, Dancing Toward Forever, is officially out in the world—and it won’t be the last. Years of notes, prayers, and “what if” scribbles are finally being turned into the novels I always dreamed of writing. Faith-filled fiction that meets you right where you are—with laughter, hope, heartache, healing, and Jesus in every chapter.
